Students will learn how to build enterprise applications with EJB: this includes understanding the different design
patterns that are built into the EJB specification, and knowing which ones to apply where in your distributed systems
design; being able to map your business objects to databases; take advantage of connection pooling, thread
pooling, container managed persistence, and other facilities provided by the BEA WebLogic server. The course also
gives an overview of major distributed programming concepts including XML, network programming, multithreading,
concurrency management, naming and discovering of distributed objects.
Upon completing this course students will have skills in:
Using BEA WebLogic server.
Developing multi-tiered business applications using Enterprise JavaBeans.
