This course prepares students to excel as Junior Business Intelligence (Data) Analysts through two main components: the Data Analytics Core, providing fundamental analytics skills and software tool proficiency, and the Business Intelligence with SQL Server Core, covering essential BI skills like integration, reporting, analysis services, database maintenance basics, and cloud services.

Students will review basic concepts and terminology in Statistics. In this module, you'll delve into fundamental statistical concepts essential for data interpretation and analysis. Explore topics such as population and sample, descriptive and inferential statistics, and the organization of data variables and scales. Learn how to describe data using tables and graphs, distinguishing between qualitative and quantitative variables, as well as sample and population distributions.

Discover various measures of central tendency, including mode, median, and mean, along with measures of variation such as range, interquartile range, and standard deviation. Gain an understanding of probability distributions, including the normal distribution, and explore sampling distributions and point estimation.

Dive into hypothesis testing, including p-values and null and alternative hypotheses, and learn about popular analysis methods, such as descriptive statistics, regression, correlation, t-tests, ANOVA, and sampling methods.

Advanced Excel

In this module, we cover the most popular techniques, such as formulas, math and logical functions, statistical functions, lookup, pivot tables, and using macros.

In this Advanced Excel module, students will delve into advanced Excel techniques essential for efficient data manipulation and analysis. Learn various math functions such as Auto Sum, Absolute Values, and Rounding Values, as well as text and date functions to handle text and date-related data effectively.

Explore logical functions like IF, AND, OR, and NOT for making decisions and performing conditional calculations. Gain proficiency in statistical functions such as SUMIF, COUNTIF, and SUMPRODUCT for analyzing data based on specific criteria.

What is the application and enrollment process?

There are two steps. First, an informal admission interview over the phone, where we have the opportunity to answer questions about the course and discuss the applicant’s background (education, experience) to ensure their training needs align with the course objectives. The goal is to help the applicant make an informed decision. Second, once approved by our admissions team, we send our standard enrollment paperwork to sign and an invoice for the first payment, concluding the enrollment process. 

What are the course prerequisites?

Excel and Statistics basics. Completed college degree (associate or bachelor's) or nearing graduation is highly preferred, most majors are acceptable. Any related work experience and education is welcome, but not required. 

What placement assistance services do you offer to your students?

We provide free assistance with resume editing and optimization for the target job, behavioral interview questions, technical interview questions, and job search resources and strategies. These services are available to students upon request. Additionally, we offer career coaching services as an optional add-on for an additional fee.

Do you guarantee jobs after completing the course?
